Dear Archbishop O'Malley,

I am a member of the Sacred Heart Parish in Lexington.  Upon hearing that it would be closing all the same emotions surfaced as those that come with the death of a close relative or friend.  I am so sad.  I feel as though I have lost my home.  Sacred Heart church and all the parishioners have been my friends and family.  They have given me a lifetime of support and friendship.  So many memories begin with Sacred Heart.  My children were raised in the church, with Father Colletti.  I never would have survived the death of my mother in law. 

Sacred Heart has supported me through so much.  Without Sacred Heart, I feel lost.  We have such a close congregation.  It is such a shame to spread us apart.  I am deeply hurt, extremely frustrated, and completely let down. 

Please reconsider your decision to close Sacred Heart.
