Action Committee -- Finance

If you can help with financial areas, including:

Funding for nonprofit organizations – how is it typically dealt with ?
Assistance with fundraising – we will need to pay for a Canon lawyer, possibly a civil lawyer in the future, and pay for various ongoing expenses of running an organization.
Assistance in analysis of financial requirements of Sacred Heart’s parish, and in the context of the Archdiocese as a whole. Research into financial profiles of churches in the Archdiocese, whether they are closing or not.
Ideas to creatively solve the financial problems facing the Archdiocese as well as the organizations presently supported by the Sacred Heart community – who will lose an organized source of support if Sacred Heart is closed and the community is dispersed.

· 2004-06-22 Summary of contribution alternatives listed.

· 2004-06-19 Checking account opened with funds received at meeting after the prayer vigil Friday evening, June 18^th. Checks can be written to “Sacred Heart Appeal Fund” and be deposited to that account. Over $1000 is in the account today.
